Spiti Limnos Description of the villa : « Spiti Limnos » est situated 250 meters about away from the beautiful and unspoilt beach of Limnos on the wildest coast of the island. The very quiet charming house is built in a 2000 m2 orange –tree orchid. It is an old house complety restaured, simply decorated but with taste. It is shadowed by a huge figue-tree and an olive-tree . Balconies are surrounding the house and the most pleasant place to sit on and enjoy the view is on the terrace of the 1st floor : it is overlooking olive trees fields and the sea. For lunch or dinner , you can make you choice between the tavernas of the villages or the fish restaurants of Limnia ( a small fishing port 10 mn walking from the house) or the two small tavernas of the beach. During July and August, in the villages around, don’t miss the “panagyria” , night celebrations with local music and folklorical dances . “ Volissos”, the nearest village, is 2 km away and has 400 unhabitants. It is where all the shops, doctor, post office …are. All the stony houses are traditional and unspoilt. The unhabitants live from collecting olives and free range goats farming.
1st floor : 2 bedrooms with 1 double and 2 single beds in each one, a kitchen, bathroom/WC, a sitting-room with 3 single sleepings and a large terrace. Ground floor : 1 kitchenette, 2 shower-rooms/WC, a bedroom with a double bed and 1 single bed, a bedroom with a double bed and with a low “mezzanine” with 2 sleeping for kids and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Basement : washing machine for clothes.

Spiti Limnos Descriptif de la maison : « Spiti Limnos » est situee a 250 metres environ de la magnifique plage de Limnos, sur la cote la plus belle et la plus sauvage de l’ile. La maison est construite dans une orangeraie de 2000m2 . C’est une ancienne maison restauree a neuf, meublee simplement mais avec gout. Elle est ombragee par des oliviers et un enorme figuier et elle est entouree de balcons et de terrasses. L’endroit le plus agreable pour s’installer est sur la terrasse du 1er etage, qui offre une vue superbe sur les champs d’oliviers et la mer. L’environnement, idyllique et calme, combine a la fois mer et campagne. Le soir, on peut faire son choix entre les tavernes du village, celles de la plages ou bien celles du petit port de peche de Limnia ( a 15 mn de marche de la maison). Pendant les mois de juillet et aout, de nombreuses petites fetes locales (avec danses et musiques folkloriques) ont lieu dans les villages des alentours. A ne pas rater… Le village le plus proche est Volissos. C’est un village tres pittoresque de 400 habitants environ, qui vivent de la recolte de l’olive et de l’elevage de chevres. 1er etage : 2 chambres a coucher (avec 1 grand lit et un lit d’1 pers.), une cuisine, salon-salle a manger, salle de bain et une grande terrasse. Rez-de-chausse : 1 kitchenette, 2 salles de douche/WC, une chambre avec 1 lit double et 1 lit d’1 pers., une chambre avec un lit double et avec mezzanine basse (sur laquelle il y a 2 couchages) et une chambre avec 2 lits d’1pers. Sous-sol : lave-linge. |
